The bed was very extremely comfy and the room was fairly quiet and big size. It took me 15 minutes to walk to the bus stop...
There was wifi missing, I was a little disappointed.

Conveniently located right in the heart of town 📍 , close to Church of St Andrew. Our budget twin room was peaceful, and we had a quiet shared bathroom.

The staff were absolute gems - super friendly, approachable, and went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable! The owner was an absolute sweetheart who even comped our night when we had a minor inconvenience with the loo. The meals were delicious, both dinner and breakfast were jaw-droppingly good. Loved that our furry friend was welcomed with open arms, given a cozy pet bed, bowls, and tasty treats. The location was ideal for serene walks along Burton Hills, and the room was spacious, clean, and had a lovely view of the main street. Plus, free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, and an electric kettle were a great bonus. mind-blowingly awesome experience in a historic setting!

I recently stayed at the Sheffield Arms in a peaceful village for a few nights. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, even allowing my dog to join me in the bar area and providing all the necessary amenities for him in the room. The full English breakfast included was delicious and filling, and the bar meals in the evening were both tasty and affordable. The historic charm of the building added to the overall experience, and I enjoyed being able to walk straight from the inn into the beautiful countryside.
Can recommend this hotel.

The room at Sheffield Arms was small but surprisingly warm and cosy. It had a shared bathroom, but that was not a problem at all.

I recently had a lovely stay at an inn in a quiet village. the staff at Sheffield Arms were incredibly friendly and made us feel very welcome. They even went the extra mile by allowing our dog into the bar area and providing a clean pet bed, food and water bowls, and treats in our room. the room itself was spacious and had a historic feel to it. We enjoyed the convenience of having tea, coffee, and a kettle in the room. Plus, the full English breakfast included in our stay was both large and delicious. We also appreciated the option of bar meals at reasonable prices, which meant we didn't have to venture out on cold evenings. Cons: Could not be improved in any way ☺.

The staff were amazing! the meals in the pub were delicious and the breakfast was fantastic too. We loved that they were pet-friendly and provided everything we needed for our dog. the location was great, with beautiful countryside to explore right on the doorstep. the room was clean and spacious, with a lovely view of the main street.
There were a few small issues that could be improved. the toilet door didn't lock and the shower fan wasn't working, making it quite hot and steamy.
